What is The Devout10 Program?

Scripture reminds us that “faith without works is dead.”  The Devout10 program challenges you to put your faith into action now through a simple commitment: 5 Acts of Faith and 5 Acts of Service each month. 

Offered free by many local churches, Devout10 helps you grow closer to God, help people who need you, build meaningful relationships, and discover greater purpose in the life you have been given. Ten acts. Every month. A lifetime of difference.

Your Devout10 journey is simple: complete 5 Acts of Faith and 5 Acts of Service each month for three consecutive months. The program is free and you don't need any special skills. You simply need to show up for God and look for opportunities to help others. 

Complete the three-month journey and receive the Devout10 Pin, a visible reminder of the commitment you made and an invitation to keep living your faith long after the first 90 days.

Your faith grows when you make time for God. Each month, attend Mass at least 5 times: the 4 Sundays plus at least one additional weekday Mass. That one extra Mass may seem like a small sacrifice, but it asks you to intentionally step away from the noise and pressures of everyday life and spend more time in God's presence. 

Month after month, this simple commitment can help you build a powerful habit: putting God at the center of your life, not just on Sundays, but throughout the week.

Someone around you needs what you can give. Each month, complete at least 5 intentional Acts of Service by:

• visiting someone who is lonely, 
• helping an elderly neighbor, 
• volunteering at church, 
• mentoring a young person, 
• supporting a struggling family, 
• inviting someone to Mass, 
• praying with someone, 
• sharing an inspiring faith message, 
• encouraging someone who has fallen away, or 
• asking someone to consider a religious vocation. 

Your act does not have to be extraordinary. You simply have to notice someone, care, and act.

You will not be doing this alone. A designated usher from your Sunday Mass will serve as your Devout10 Program coordinator, and each week after Mass you can briefly check in, confirm your attendance, and share any Acts of Service you completed. 

This simple weekly connection helps you remain focused and accountable as you work toward completing your three-month commitment and receiving your Devout10 Pin.
